    Further, to add substantially in the lecture, he shared his personal experience as an counsel in Arbitration proceedings. He emphasizes on the bright side of this practice and goodwill involve in this area.

    The students were immensely benefitted by this lecture arranged by Mrs. Shilpa Sharma.


    On 22nd September, 2017 the GHRLC Students had visited Nagpur Nagrik Sahakari Bank (NNSB) Main Office at Ambedkar Chowk, Nagpur under the able guidance of Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, Practical Teacher of ADR subject.

    The object behind the visit was to give first hand information to students with respect to Arbitration procedure. The Bank has got Arbitration Tribunal wherein the dispute relating to their customers got resolved in an amicable manner

    The students gets benefited by the visit as they learn the mechanism practically and the visit was very essential from the future practice point of view of the students.

  • Adventure Camp

    G H Raisoni Law College organised an adventure camp on 4th august 2018. Dr Anita sable in charge of Adventure camp organised the event in SAHAS ADVENTURE CAMP, Wadgaon ,Chandrapur road nearly 42 kilometres from Nagpur. This initiative was taken by the Dr. Anita sable for organising the event under the guidance of Dr. J.L.Aparajit , Director G H Raisoni. Law College. The camp was attended by 45 students of various semesters. Students enjoyed various adventure activities including artificial wall climbing, kayaking (river rafting), net climbing etc. This was the 3rd time when the event was successfully organised by Dr. Anita Sable.

  • Best speaker prize to Mr. Aadit Ved

    Mr. Aadit Ved student of G.H. Raisoni Law College captured the BEST SPEAKER PRIZE in the prestigious Inter collegiate Vidarbha Level Debate Competition named “VAIKHERI” on 7th Sept. 2017. Aadit Ved coveted win is more special as great debators participated in this mighty event. The team comprising of Ms. Neeta Panwar and Mr. Aadit Ved represented GHRLC.

    Aadit Ved Spoke for the motion and Ms. Neeta Panwar spoke against the motion. The topic of the Debate was “Teachers are not required in the present Era of Google”. There were total 26 teams from all over Vidarbha District.

  • Best Team Prize to GHRLC Students

    Another Major victory another reason for celebration as Mr. Akash Shahu and Ms.Shweta Gaikwad students of G. H. Raisoni Law College has won the best team Prize in an Inter Collegiate Debate Competition Organized by SFS College, Nagpur on 11th Sept. 2017.

    The topic for the Debate Competition was “Equal Pay for Men and Women in sports”. And the Mr. Akash Shahu won the Best speaker prize also.

  • National Sports Day

    Mrs. Anita N Sable assistant professor the sports in charge organized a sports day in G.H.Raisoni Law College, shradha house on 29th August 2017. The event was full of enjoyment and fun. The entire event was covered by Mrs Anita Sable and her students team. The sports inclusive of tug of war, sack race and run with the partners was the centre of attraction. Dr J.LAparajit ,director appreciated the efforts taken by the sable madam for always arranging the good event with innovative ideas.

    The students in large number participated in the memorable event. The students also thanked event incharge Anita Sable madam for her efforts in every event organized by her. Event was enjoyed by all students and teachers. A joyful sports day was concluded by the distribution of certificates to the students

  • Teacher’s Day Celebration at GHRLC

    The students of G H Raisoni Law College made every endeavor to make the day special and memorable for all the teachers of GHRLC on teachers Day i.e. 5th Sept. 2017.

    The Celebration had fun, games, Quiz, entertainment, songs, dance and to top it all the magic show. The celebration with love, affection and respect made the day memorable.

  • Skill Programme

    G.H. RAISONI LAW College organised a presentation skill programme for the student of LLB 3 years course on 7th august 2018 under the able guidance of Dr. Anita N. Sable. The students of 3 years presented wonderful presentations on various topics relating to transfer of property, the law relating to the transfer of property and related provisions. Dr. Anita N. Sable addressed the students and shared her view regarding importance of presentation in the academics. Such events not only enhanced the leadership skill but also develop the confidence, sense of responsibility and awareness among the students.

  • Visit to Aashtha Institute

    An Opportunity has been availed by students of G. H. Raisoni Law College by visiting and understanding the working of Aashtha Institute on 14th Sept. 2017. The establishment of Aashtha is for empowering the women and helping the women and children in distress.

    By the visit, the students came to learn that this Institute is not at all an NGO rather it is a Project of Maharashtra Government funded by UNICEF where in any complaint relating to violence of women and children can be handled suo moto as well.

    The senior Social worker of this Institute, Mrs. Sangita Dhomne (Protection Officer) emphatically showed to the students chart showing graph of various disputes resolved by herself and the Institute since the starting of Aashtha Institute. For understanding the proper working she also showed various register, complaint book dealing with disputes to the students. She believes that pre-counseling is must to avoid so many trivial family matter.

    The visit was a great learning experience for the students under the able guidance of faculty Mrs. Shilpa Sharma of GHRLC.

  • Visit to Bharosa Cell

    G.H.Raisoni Law College students had an opportunity to visit “Bharosa Cell”, a special project of Maharashtra Govt. at IT Park, Nagpur on 14th Sept. 2017. The said visit was organized by Mrs. Shilpa Sharma for final year students with the purpose of making them aware about settling of disputes outside the court. Bharosa Cell is like a helping station for the women and children in distress. The department is handled and well managed by Mrs. Shubdha Shanke, Police Inspector.

    She interacted very enthusiastically and elaborated to students about their services their duties towards the cell and how the cell helped the needy and distress victim of domestic violence. The students also learn that the cell provide free Legal Aid, Medical Aid, Counseling etc. to the needy people free of cost.

    The Bharosa Cell established in the month of January, 2017 and near about 1700 cases had been reported and 500 cases have been resolved by cell. So the visit has been a great opportunity for all the students who visited Bharosa Cell.

  • Visit to MPCB

    The students of G. H. Raisoni Law College made a visit to the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Nagpur. This visit took place under the guidance of Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, Professor, GHRLC on 27th Sept. 2017.

    Mr. Ramesh Wankhede, Regional Officerof MPCB Nagpur took the initiative to deliver a session on the ways through which people are polluting the environment and further guided on the control of pollution. Mr. Ramesh who had the knowledge of both science and law took the students to a different angle of practical learning. The students also got a chance to observe the Laboratory where the samples of Water and Air from the designated areas are being tested. The students had certain queries which were all cleared.

    As guided by Mr. Ramesh and his colleagues, unless the citizens of the country take the protection of the Environment as their moral duty and spread awareness regarding the same, the government won't be able to work as desired. It is a two way process and hence the citizens should abide by their duties. They should also make sure that they leave behind the conventional methods of living and follow Sustainable Development which would save the environment for the generations to come.

  • World Photography Day Celebration at GHRLC

    World photography day was celebrated in G.H. Raisoni Law College on 19th August, 2017 with an idea of creating awareness to the public and the students about the pollution in Nagpur city and the success rate of Swatch Bhaarat Abhiyan of BJP Government with the help of an exhibition.

    The event was accelerated by an idea of Assist Professor Mrs. Anita N. Sable which led to a grand success of event. A huge contribution of photograph was made by the students of various semesters. The event was inaugurated by Dr. J.L.Aprajit the Director of G.H.R.L.S. The proceedings of the exhibition was conducted Mrs. Anita N. Sable the in charge of the event. The event was concluded by the distribution of the certificates to the participants. Student representative Miss Bhavika Hindustani and her team worked hard for the success of the event.

  • National Agenda Forum

    The National Agenda Forum under IPAC has celebrated birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi to pay its tribute. The 18 principles laid down by late mahatma Gandhi are to be spread among young students for bringing the change in the society. Accordingly the representative of IPAC through their leader Mr. Nikhil organised an interactive session with students of G.H.Raisoni Law College at 9:30 in Vivekananda hall. The interactive session was nicely conducted by Nikhil and his team and was responded lively and actively by students of G.H.Raisoni Law College.

    The director of G.H.Raisoni Law College Dr. Jayant Aparajit introduced the guest and also sum-up the programme by extended thanks to Nikhil and his team. The programme was a grand success.
